Mohammed VI Tower inaugurated in Rabat, becoming Morocco's tallest building
The Mohammed VI Tower, inaugurated by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, now stands as a new icon in Rabat's urban landscape. Visible up to 60 kilometers away, the 250-meter-tall tower is the highest in Morocco and among the tallest on the continent. It symbolizes African ambition and potential, embodying the vision of its developer, Mr. Othman Benjelloun, president of O Capital Group, aligned with the Sovereign's enlightened vision. The tower's unique design offers views of the Atlantic Ocean and the twin cities of Rabat and Salรฉ. It is a masterpiece of engineering, blending ultra-high technology, design, and heritage. Its 55 floors, totaling 102,800 m2, include state-of-the-art office spaces, high-end apartments, a Waldorf Astoria luxury hotel, an observatory, and exhibition areas. The base features restaurants, a reception/conference hall, and an art gallery, alongside services, parking, and a river pontoon for direct access to the Bouregreg. Advanced construction solutions were implemented by BESIX and TGCC. The tower's engineering uses a "Shell & Core" concept, centralizing technical functions and creating vast, light-filled open spaces on the North faca
