Moroccan taekwondo athlete Farah Touzani secured a gold medal at the G-4 World Open in China, defeating China's Shiyi Wang, ranked 33rd globally, in the -46 kg final. Touzani, from Meknes, overcame an initial deficit against her home-crowd supported opponent. The 19-year-old managed the distance effectively, neutralizing Wang's attacks and using a series of kicks to the chest and head in the final seconds to win in two rounds. This victory earns Touzani valuable points for her world ranking and highlights her as a promising talent in national sports, validating the high-performance preparation strategy of the Royal Moroccan Taekwondo Federation. On her path to gold, Touzani won five matches, including a victory over world number one Milana Bekulova from Russia.
