Minya's inclusion in comprehensive health insurance system to serve as national model

This announcement was made during a meeting with the Governor of Minya, the President of Minya University, and other officials to review preparations. Dr. Abdel Ghaffar emphasized that the success in Minya would provide significant momentum for achieving comprehensive health coverage for all citizens. He urged all parties to accelerate the completion of non-medical furnishings and the installation of medical and technological equipment in healthcare facilities.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry's official spokesperson, reported the Minister's satisfaction with the readiness of primary healthcare units and hospitals. The meeting also covered the progress in supplying and installing medical equipment, equipping dental clinics and laboratories, and preparing operating rooms to international standards, alongside ensuring compliance with infection control and civil protection requirements. Additionally, the assessment of technological infrastructure, including fiber optic cable installation and equipment supply for electronic system connectivity, was reviewed.

These efforts highlight the state's commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare for all Egyptian citizens.
