Maurel & Prom's Ezanga permit in Gabon shows resilience, Etekamba gas discovery offers new prospects

The company's consolidated revenue reached $366 million, a 27% increase, with EBITDA at $227 million, up 63%, and net income attributable to the group rising by 74% to $183 million. This performance is attributed to efficient operations and an average oil price of $103.8 per barrel. Gabon remains a key asset for M&P, with the Ezanga permit, where M&P holds an 80% stake, being the primary contributor to revenue.

Production from Ezanga averaged 13,896 barrels per day in the first half of 2026, a 10% decrease from the first half of 2025 but a 1% increase compared to the second half of 2025, despite scheduled maintenance. By July, production reached approximately 17,500 barrels per day at 100%, or nearly 14,000 barrels per day for M&P's share. Ezanga activities generated $228 million in revenue during the first half, a 20% increase from the previous year.

A significant development in Gabon is the Etekamba gas permit, where the Mouletsi-2 well, completed in late February, confirmed a production potential of approximately 25 million cubic feet of gas per day.
