Egypt condemns attack on UAE vessel in Hormuz, urges de-escalation

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC of carrying out an "aggressive Iranian attack," calling it an act of piracy and a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817. The UAE urged Iran to cease such attacks and fully comply with a cessation of hostilities. Egypt affirmed its solidarity with the UAE, rejected acts threatening navigation, and called for de-escalation and diplomatic solutions to ensure regional security and stability.
