LIDCO and Turkey discuss reactivating stalled projects and establishing new partnerships

The meeting, coordinated with Mustafa Al-Mana, Head of the Executive Team for the President’s Initiatives and Strategic Projects, included LIDCO's Director of the Company’s Financial Department and Director of Construction and Implementation Department. This discussion falls within the framework of the Libyan Turkish Committee, formed between the Tripoli government and the Turkish Government. The agenda covered the status of Turkish joint ventures with LIDCO, addressing stalled and ongoing projects, and overcoming associated difficulties.

LIDCO presented suggestions for reactivating these projects and facilitating the return of Turkish companies. Additionally, the parties discussed establishing new partnerships for several upcoming projects by LIDCO. The Turkish Commercial Attaché reportedly expressed admiration for the proposed solutions and mechanisms, indicating readiness to support them with Libyan executive authorities.
