Libya's Privatisation & Investment Board hosts Turkish delegation to discuss cooperation and investment opportunities

The Turkish delegation, comprising representatives from various companies, aimed to explore economic and investment cooperation and strengthen partnerships between Turkish and Libyan businesses. Key attendees included Nasser Najm, Chairman of the PIB, Mahmoud Al-Maouj, Director of the Promotion Department, and Ahmed Al-Oraibi, Director of the Investment Department. Discussions focused on Turkish companies entering the Libyan market and leveraging investment opportunities in sectors such as electricity, elevators, medical services, packaging, and soilless farming technologies.

Opportunities for participation in reconstruction and infrastructure projects in Benghazi and other Libyan cities were also reviewed. Chairman Najm highlighted the importance of strengthening economic cooperation, acknowledging Turkish companies' expertise and the promising opportunities in Libya. He also stated that the PIB facilitates procedures for investors and informs foreign companies about available opportunities to foster sustainable partnerships.
