Libya Experts Forum in Tripoli to integrate diaspora knowledge for national development
The Libyan Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation is hosting the Libya Experts Forum in Tripoli from August 23-25. Approximately 100 diaspora experts from 26 countries are participating in the event, which aims to integrate their knowledge into national development. A new digital platform will be launched to support communication and information exchange among Libyan professionals, establish a national database of experts, and provide scientific advice to government decision-makers. The forum's slogan is "We meet to contribute to the making of the future" and it seeks to enhance communication between Libyan expertise at home and abroad, open horizons for cooperation and knowledge exchange, and benefit from the scientific and professional experiences of Libyan experts worldwide. Other objectives include developing a practical framework for national competencies, enhancing communication with international institutions, transferring knowledge and expertise to Libya, supporting scientific research and innovation, and encouraging partnership with the private sector.
