Libya's Communications and Informatics Authority discusses digital cooperation with US Chargé Berndt

The discussion focused on fostering bilateral cooperation in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and telecommunications infrastructure. They explored potential investment opportunities for U.S. companies to support Libya’s digital modernization and capacity-building goals. Al-Baour emphasized the Authority's aim to build strategic partnerships, facilitate knowledge transfer, localize modern technologies, and qualify national talent within an investment-friendly regulatory environment.

Both parties agreed on the importance of continued coordination, consultation, and the exchange of expertise in digital security and technical capacity building to support digital transformation and strengthen bilateral relations. Also present were Riad Al-Zaitouni, Director General of Regulatory Affairs, and Rafiq Al-Janjan, Director of the Experts' Office.
