The Ivory Coast national basketball team, known as the Elephants, is preparing for the fourth window of the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers. This stage, which marks the first leg of the second round, will take place from August 27 to 30, 2026, at the Dakar Arena in Senegal. Placed in Group F, the Elephants will play three matches within four days. Their first game is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, at 3:30 PM GMT against Mali. Two days later, on Saturday, August 29, at 12:30 PM GMT, the Ivorians will face Egypt, concluding this window on Sunday, August 30, at 3:30 PM GMT against Angola. The team, including Pac么me Dadiet, is currently training in France and will soon travel to Dakar to continue their preparation. The Ivorian Basketball Federation is expected to announce the final 12-player roster and broadcast information shortly. Currently second in Group F, the Elephants must perform well in this fourth window to enhance their chances of qualifying for the 2027 World Cup. After these three August matches, only three games will remain in the fifth window, scheduled for February 2027. Following this phase, the top two teams from each of Groups E and F, along with the best third-placed team, will secure their spots for the 2027 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.
