Ireland deports 42 South Africans in migration crackdown, costing €735,000

The individuals were sent back to Johannesburg on a charter flight from Dublin Airport, costing an initial €735,000. This marks the fourth major deportation charter flight by Ireland this year. The deportations were carried out based on deportation orders issued by the Garda National Immigration Bureau for individuals deemed to be living illegally and not opting for voluntary return.
