Federal Government flags off N178 billion Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road reconstruction

President Bola Tinubu, represented by Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani, performed the groundbreaking ceremony. The President stated that the project fulfills a campaign promise and demonstrates his administration's commitment to critical infrastructure. The road, which connects Mando near Kaduna International Airport to the Niger State boundary, aims to reconnect communities affected by insecurity and poor infrastructure, serving as a shorter route between Northern Nigeria and Lagos.

Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, described the project as a significant milestone in the Federal Government’s infrastructure renewal program, emphasizing its potential to enhance security, reduce transportation costs, and unlock the region's economic potential.
