Iran retaliates against US strikes, threatens Washington with a "new strategy

The Iranian government vowed to "break" the United States and warned countries cooperating with Washington. The US strikes resulted in at least 19 deaths in Iran, including military personnel and civilians, with four people killed and nearly 70 injured at a wedding in the Sirik district. Tehran condemned the incident as a "war crime," with Iranian diplomacy spokesperson Esmaïl Baghaï accusing Washington of "savagely bombing" the ceremony, and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf calling the United States "Satan."

The US Central Command Centcom stated it targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps sites, including air defense systems, radars, and maritime facilities. US President Donald Trump, in turn, threatened further strikes, stating, "We are ready to launch another one at any time."
