International drug network dismantled in Ariana, five suspects arrested

This operation resulted from intelligence work and field monitoring. The network consisted of four foreign nationals and one Tunisian, operating from areas between El Omrane Supérieur and El Menzah. They had set up a laboratory with sophisticated machinery for manufacturing and packaging the pills.

Authorities arrested all network members and seized approximately 14,000 ready-to-consume pills, nearly 10 million pills in production, an industrial machine, raw materials, and three vehicles used for transport and distribution. Investigations revealed the network used advanced concealment methods, including camouflaging drugs in gift boxes and transporting them abroad via taxis to evade security checks. The suspects have been detained under public prosecution instructions.
