Fatma Mseddi urges Kaïs Saïed to publicly judge alleged conspirators amidst Sfax crisis

Mseddi highlighted severe electricity cuts, water shortages, and losses for bakeries, describing the situation in Sfax as unsustainable. She urged the President to visit Sfax to witness the conditions firsthand, stating that things are no longer under control. Mseddi also challenged Saïed's discourse on "conspirators," demanding that if such individuals exist, their names should be revealed and they should face public trials.

She reported that 80% or more of Sfax experienced a blackout the previous day and questioned why an entire governorate should be deprived of electricity. Mseddi stated she had warned about the vulnerabilities in the electricity sector for weeks and criticized the government for its lack of communication with citizens and deputies, calling it "mute" and a "failure." She also called for the appointment of a dedicated Minister of Energy and for an urgent parliamentary meeting to address the crisis.
