Ghana Education Service refutes Free SHS cancellation and payment claims

The Service clarified that the Free SHS policy has not been cancelled, nor has any directive for such payments been issued. The GES also stated that its Director-General does not have the authority to cancel the Free SHS policy. Parents, guardians, students, and the public are advised against making any payments based on these circulating claims and are encouraged to rely on official information from authorized GES channels. The GES appealed to the media and the public to cease circulating false information that could cause anxiety.
