Ghana Police arrest Nigerian suspect in foiled Labone robbery, two suspects killed

During the operation, police officers shot and killed two suspected robbers. One suspect, Augustine Okechukwu Maazi, a Nigerian national, was arrested and is currently assisting with investigations. The police engaged the suspects in a shootout after they attempted to flee and fired shots.

Two vehicles, a Toyota Highlander with registration number GS-1434-18 and a Hyundai Tucson with registration number GS-7915-17, were recovered at the scene, along with a blow pistol. The bodies of the deceased suspects have been moved to the morgue for preservation, identification, and autopsy.
