Gabon withdraws Roll Stéphane Ngomat's candidacy for Francophonie Secretary General

This withdrawal, which occurred seven months before the 20th Francophonie Summit in Cambodia, was abrupt and unexplained. Just six weeks prior, Roll Stéphane Ngomat, a seasoned diplomat and president of the African Union for Peace and Security, had been lauded as Gabon's and Africa's asset for a more proactive Francophonie.
