Marielordivoire celebrates Ivorian diaspora excellence in Oslo
The Marielordivoire Awards ceremony took place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Grand Hotel in Oslo, Norway, with a significant official Ivorian delegation present. The event, themed "PND 2026-2030: the diaspora at the heart of future investments," honored "gold and ivory," symbolizing excellence and C么te d'Ivoire, respectively, according to organization president Marie-Laure N'Goran. The ceremony featured traditional and modern music, including a performance by artist Chantal Ta茂ba, and fostered Ivorian-Norwegian connections. The Autonomous District of Abidjan sent a five-person delegation led by N'Dri Kouadio Pierre Narcisse, Special Advisor to Minister-Governor Ciss茅 Ibrahima Bacongo. The delegation praised President Alassane Ouattara's vision and the strategic role of Ivorians abroad in national development. Marie-Laure N'Goran, also President of UNJCI and the Marielordivoire Organization, received the 2026 National Excellence Award for media development.
