
Egyptian Ambassador to Ramallah meets with Palestinian Prime Minister to discuss developments
Ihab Suleiman, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ramallah, met with Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, and Farsin Aghabekian Shahin, the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Monday. The discussions covered bilateral relations and recent developments in the Palestinian territories. Ambassador Suleiman offered condolences for the death of the Palestinian Ambassador to Cairo, Diab al-Louh, and reaffirmed Egypt's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people. The meeting also addressed developments in the Gaza Strip, with the Egyptian Ambassador emphasizing the importance of a sustainable ceasefire, implementing the roadmap for the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, and enacting UN Security Council Resolution 2803. This would enable the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza to perform its temporary duties, empowering the Palestinian National Authority to assume full responsibilities in Gaza and the West Bank after the transitional phase, supporting relief, early recovery, and reconstruction, and improving the humanitarian situation.
