Egyptian Red Crescent dispatches 227th aid convoy to Gaza

From Egypt to Gaza" convoy, sending aid trucks to the Gaza Strip. This initiative marks 1,000 days of the ERC's humanitarian response to the Gaza crisis. The convoy includes hundreds of tons of humanitarian supplies, such as over 41,000 food baskets, approximately 400 tons of flour, about 470 tons of medical supplies, relief materials, and medicines, and more than 1,605 tons of fuel for hospitals and vital facilities.

The ERC has maintained a continuous presence at the Egyptian border since the conflict began, stating that the Rafah border crossing has not been permanently closed on the Egyptian side. The organization has delivered over one million tons of humanitarian and relief aid since the crisis started, supported by more than 65,000 volunteers.
