He also extended an invitation to African leaders to attend the first Alamein-Africa Business Forum, scheduled for October 2-4 in New Alamein City. Madbouly delivered this message during the opening session of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union, held in Luanda, Angola. He stressed the importance of active participation from African business leaders in the forum to enhance African integration and intra-African cooperation, aiming for peace, security, and sustainable development.

The Prime Minister highlighted the need for concerted efforts in post-conflict reconstruction and development, urging the African Union Commission to support the African Union Center for Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Development in Cairo. He noted that the continent faces significant challenges, including poverty, climate change, water scarcity, terrorism, weapons proliferation, and transnational organized crime, which necessitate a comprehensive approach. Madbouly also emphasized the 20th anniversary of the African Union’s Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Development Policy as a milestone for reviewing progress and renewing commitment to practical programs, including infrastructure rehabilitation and job creation.
