PUBG Mobile partners with Nigerian artist Ayomaff for in-game collaboration
PUBG Mobile has announced its first in-game collaboration with an African music artist, Nigerian Afro Street Pop artist Ayomaff. This partnership introduces "Ya Man," an original song created by Ayomaff in collaboration with PUBG Mobile, reflecting the energy of African youth and the teamwork central to the game. The campaign's theme, "Ya Man, We Move," uses African youth slang to convey confidence, affirmation, victory, resilience, and action. Ayomaff drew inspiration from Lagos street culture, while PUBG Mobile contributed its gameplay values of teamwork, survival, and cooperation. Starting August 7, African players can access exclusive Ayomaff-themed in-game content. PUBG Mobile plans to promote the collaboration through a music video, creator showcases, social media challenges, and regional esports events.
