Crédit du Maroc reports 19.4% net profit increase to 532 million dirhams in first half of 2026

This growth was driven by commercial activity expansion, controlled operating expenses, and rigorous risk management. Loan outstandings grew by 7.1% year-on-year to 64.27 billion dirhams by the end of June 2026. Corporate financing increased by 12.7% to 41.06 billion dirhams, supported by lease financing +34.8%, equipment loans +24.9%, and real estate development loans +15.8%.

Household loans rose by 3.9% to 22.74 billion dirhams, primarily due to consumer loans +10.5% and housing loans +2.3%. Balance sheet resources reached 63.9 billion dirhams, up 10.1% over the past twelve months, mainly propelled by sight deposits, which increased by 14.6% to 47.1 billion dirhams. Term and savings resources remained stable at 5.34 billion dirhams and 10.09 billion dirhams, respectively.

The consolidated net banking income reached 1.91 billion dirhams, a 7.8% increase from the first half of 2025. This was supported by a net interest margin of 1.47 billion dirhams, up 13.1%, benefiting from commercial development, controlled resource costs, and the contribution of Crédit du Maroc Leasing and Factoring. Commission income amounted to 259 million dirhams, boosted by the growth of Crédit du Maroc Assurances and Crédit du Maroc Patrimoine activities, as well as the launch of CDM Pay.
