Ondo will deliver massive votes for Tinubu in 2027, says Governor Aiyedatiwa
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has pledged that the state will provide substantial votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. This declaration was made during a meeting with the leadership of the Ondo State chapter of the City Boy Movement, a pro-Tinubu political group, at the Governor’s Office in Akure. The group, led by Oluwafemi Ayejusunle and Tomide Akinribido, briefed the governor on their grassroots mobilization efforts and sought state government support. Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the group's dedication to the All Progressives Congress ideals and the Renewed Hope Agenda. He asserted Ondo's full support for Tinubu's re-election, citing his proclamation of “Ondo For Tinubu 2027.” Aiyedatiwa highlighted his administration's achievements in infrastructure, job creation, and youth empowerment as factors that will secure more support for Tinubu. He stated that every positive action taken by his administration translates into votes for the president. The governor assured the City Boy Movement and other pro-Tinubu groups of his administration's full backing for their activities. The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami, Secretary to the State Government Taiwo Fasoranti, and Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing Abiola Olawoye.
