Bourita receives special envoy of Zambian President with message for King Mohammed VI

Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, received Mr. Mbula, the special envoy of the President of Zambia. Following the meeting, Mr. Mbula praised the excellent bilateral relations between Morocco and Zambia, highlighting the cordial and mutually beneficial ties based on shared values of peace and solidarity. He also commended Morocco's stability, prosperity, and remarkable socio-economic transformations under the visionary leadership of King Mohammed VI. Mr. Mbula specifically acknowledged Morocco's impressive development process, particularly within the framework of the New Development Model and the Industrial Acceleration Plan, which have positioned the Kingdom as a continental leader in the automotive and aeronautical sectors. The special envoy reiterated Zambia's strong commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest, including digital transformation, youth empowerment, and innovation. Regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue, Mr. Mbula affirmed Zambia's unequivocal support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over its entire territory, including the Moroccan Sahara. He also recognized Morocco's achievements in sports, noting the Kingdom's world-class infrastructure, which enhances its international standing.
