Kanye West legislator accuses Lands Ministry of defying President Boko's housing project directive
Kanye West legislator Victor Phologolo has accused the Ministry of Lands and Agriculture of defying President Duma Boko鈥檚 directive regarding the issuance of title deeds. These deeds are essential for the construction of 61,000 houses across 61 constituencies as part of the Bonno Housing Project. President Boko launched this project last year in Palapye, aiming to provide housing for Batswana. The project's target of 61,000 houses is part of the Umbrella for Democratic Change's UDC broader manifesto goal of 100,000 houses within five years. Phologolo made these accusations during the Ministry's appearance before the Parliamentary Accounts Committee, stating that the ministry responsible for title deeds is hindering the project's implementation.
