PDP's Wole Oluyede advocates for performance and continuity in Nigeria's 2027 presidential election
Wole Oluyede, the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in the June 20 Ekiti State Governorship Election and Convener of the Oluyede Progressive Alliance for Renewed Hope Agenda OPARHA, has called on Nigerians to prioritize performance, continuity, and national development over sentiment in the 2027 presidential election. Oluyede urged citizens to evaluate President Bola Tinubu's administration based on its policies, reforms, infrastructure projects, and economic measures, suggesting these warrant a renewal of his mandate. He emphasized that Nigeria cannot afford to abandon long-term policies and projects, as major economic and infrastructure reforms require time to mature and deliver full benefits. Oluyede believes the country is moving in the right direction and that the foundation laid by the current administration deserves consolidation. He urged Nigerians to support Tinubu for a second term focused on continuity, consolidation, completion, and delivering greater benefits. He stated that the 2027 election should be a referendum on direction, performance, and continuity, rather than sentiment, focusing on achievements, remaining tasks, and leadership capacity. Oluyede highlighted the importance of continuing to build on existing foundations rather than restarting. He praised the Tinubu administration's reforms across all economic sectors and its infrastructure development, citing projects like the Lagos โ Calabar Coastal Highway and the Abuja โ Kaduna -Kano Highw
