Women protest and 24 victims buried after attack in Plateau State's Bin-Per community

The victims received a mass burial in the community, while several injured individuals are receiving hospital treatment. The protesting women, holding leaves, lamented the killings and called for urgent government action to protect their lives and communities. Mrs. Ladi Joshua, a protester, expressed the devastation caused by the loss of husbands, children, and relatives.

Comr. Kyesmang Jonathan, President of the Mwaghavul Youth Movement, confirmed 24 burials and highlighted the ongoing medical attention for some injured victims. He condemned the attacks and urged the government and security agencies to protect vulnerable communities and bring perpetrators to justice.

Hon. Jude Eli Dakur, African Democratic Congress Secretary in Plateau State, also condemned the attack, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable. He expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and destruction, calling for the identification, arrest, and prosecution of those responsible. Dakur appealed to residents for vigilance and calm, assuring affected communities of solidarity.
