Israeli army opens criminal investigation into the death of Hind Rajab in Gaza
The Israeli army announced on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the opening of a criminal investigation into the death of Hind Rajab, a five-year-old Palestinian girl killed in the Gaza Strip in January 2024. This announcement comes more than two years after the events and marks a new stage in a case that had caused strong international outrage.
