Ten-man Lens defeats Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 to win French Champions' Trophy

This marks Lens' first trophy under new coach Dino Toppmoeller. Despite PSG's recent UEFA Super Cup win and their opponent playing with ten men for much of the match after Kyllian Antonio's first-half red card, PSG struggled to convert possession into clear chances. PSG coach Luis Enrique acknowledged Lens' intensity and performance.

PSG was also reduced to ten men late in the game when Nuno Mendes received a red card. Lens, who were Ligue 1 runners-up last season, qualified for the match by winning their first French Cup.
