President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has appointed Mamadou Moustapha Dia as the new Director of Domains, replacing Abdou Gningue. Mamadou Moustapha Dia, an inspector of Taxes and Domains, previously served as the coordinator of the Cell for Land and Property Affairs. The Directorate of Domains is responsible for managing, preserving, and developing the state's land and real estate assets. Its functions also include ensuring the legal security of state properties, monitoring land operations, enforcing regulations concerning public and private state domains, and supporting public policies related to land governance and the preservation of state patrimonial interests.
