Temitope Osoba's fianc茅 claims actress died at Ikorodu police station, not from cancer
Prophet Itunu Onadeko, the fianc茅 of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, has alleged that the actress died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos State. This statement contradicts widespread speculation that her death resulted from complications related to breast cancer. Onadeko, speaking in an interview with the Celestial Reality Check, dismissed claims that Osoba was poisoned or mistreated. He stated that he was informed of her death by an unidentified caller around midnight, who told him she died at a police station in Ikorodu. Onadeko, who is the Shepherd-in-charge of CCC Onibuore Cathedral, Bogije, Ibeju-Lekki, said he did not know the specific police station but reported himself to a nearby one. He mentioned that Osoba had gone to see Mrs. Kehinde Osoba, who also runs a church, shortly before her death. Onadeko denied having access to money donated for Osoba's cancer surgery or using it to build his church, stating the money was sent to her account. He also refuted allegations that Osoba was prevented from driving her car, was maltreated, or drank poison. He revealed that Osoba had a smoking habit and that she had left the church about three weeks before her death. Osoba died on Wednesday at the age of 40 and is scheduled to be buried on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State. The claims made by Onadeko have not been independently verified.
