Ibrahim Mbaye agrees personal terms with Liverpool for five-year contract
Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, 18, has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Liverpool for a five-year contract, according to RMC Sport. This development indicates Mbaye's preference for Liverpool over other interested clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen. While personal terms are settled, discussions between PSG and Liverpool regarding the transfer fee are still ongoing. Mbaye, who made his professional debut for PSG at 16 in August 2022, is a Senegalese international and became the youngest African player to score in the 2026 World Cup. Liverpool, seeking to strengthen their right-wing attack after Mohamed Salah's departure, intensified talks with Mbaye's agent, Jorge Mendes. The reported asking price from PSG is around 50 million euros. Liverpool is also pursuing another PSG forward, Bradley Barcola, which adds complexity to their summer transfer finances. The agreement between Mbaye and Liverpool is a significant step, but a transfer is not finalized until both clubs agree on a fee before the September 1 deadline.
