Senegalese civil status document trafficking network dismantled in Richard-Toll

A network involved in the trafficking of administrative documents has been dismantled in Richard-Toll by the National Division of Investigations DNIT. A municipal agent, Adama Fall, is accused of illegally selling civil status documents to foreign nationals. Investigation details indicate that judgments were sold for 20,000 to 30,000 FCFA, and nationality certificates for 10,000 to 15,000 FCFA. Adama Fall, in complicity with Pape Maguette Ndiaye, also allegedly produced fake national identity cards in a cybercafé. Both individuals have been arrested and taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the network and identify any other accomplices. This case highlights serious fraudulent practices within a public administration, posing significant risks to security and civil status management.
