
Namibian gymnast Tyesha Humphries reflects on her Commonwealth Games experience
Namibian gymnast Tyesha Humphries expressed pride in representing her country, "the Land of The Brave," at her first Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. She described the experience as unforgettable, despite the competition not meeting initial hopes and mistakes occurring. Humphries stated that the team maintained their resolve and gave their best to represent Namibia with pride, heart, and determination. She also thanked her mother for unwavering support, acknowledging her mother's early belief in her switch to artistic gymnastics. Additionally, Humphries extended gratitude to the Namibia Gymnastics Federation for their trust and for providing the opportunity to compete at a major international sporting event.
