
National Assembly committees to review labor law, digital security, and asset declaration reforms
The National Assembly is set for a busy week of technical committee examinations, focusing on several key legislative texts. On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 9 AM, the Committee on Laws, Decentralization, Labor, and Human Rights will jointly review the draft Labor Code and the Social Security Code. Later that day, at 3 PM, the same committee will consider a proposed amendment to Article 37 of the Constitution, a text introduced by Amadou B芒 concerning asset declarations upon leaving office. The schedule continues on Thursday, August 13. At 10 AM, deputies will examine draft law No. 25-2026, which addresses the protection of critical information infrastructure and digital security. Following this, at 3 PM, a legislative proposal by Guy Marius Sagna and co-signatories, regarding the legal framework for special credits, will be discussed.
