President Tinubu hails rescue of 21 abductees in Kogi State, including 15 NYSC members

The rescue operation, conducted on Monday afternoon, involved a combined team of military personnel, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and local vigilantes. The 21 abductees, comprising eight males and thirteen females, were freed from a kidnappers' den in the forests of Ofu Local Government Area. President Tinubu stated that the rescued victims are currently receiving medical attention before being reunited with their families.

He also confirmed that security forces are still pursuing the fleeing suspects and reiterated his administration's commitment to ensuring safe travel across Nigeria and the safety of NYSC members. Tinubu commended the security personnel for their courage and the families of the victims for their patience.
