President Mahama swears in Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings and Mahama Ayariga as ministers

The ceremony took place at the Jubilee House on Saturday, August 29, 2026, following their parliamentary approval. These appointments are part of changes to President Mahama’s administration. Ayariga previously served as Majority Leader in Parliament, and Dr. Zanetor will now lead the Environment, Science and Technology portfolio.

After taking their constitutional oaths, Ayariga assured President Mahama that they would work to fulfill the commitments made to Ghanaians during the 2024 election campaign, guided by the President’s approach to governance. President Mahama charged the new ministers to uphold accountability, transparency, and integrity in their roles.
