
African Stars to face Mangasport, Unam FC to play Kabuscorp in CAF club competitions
African Stars will compete against Mangasport of Gabon in the CAF Champions League qualifying rounds, while Unam FC is set to play Kabuscorp of Angola in the CAF Confederation Cup qualifying rounds. The draws were conducted in Cairo. African Stars will play their first leg away in Moanga, Gabon, between September 4-6, and host Mangasport in Windhoek from September 11-13. Mangasport has won the Gabonese premier league ten times since 2000, including the last two seasons. Unam FC will host Kabuscorp in Windhoek from September 4-6, with the return leg in Angola scheduled for September 11-13. Kabuscorp won the Angola Cup in 2025 and the Angolan premier league once in 2013. Winners of the first qualifying rounds in both competitions will advance to the second qualifying rounds in October, which will determine the 16 teams for the group stages.
