DA secures R104 million in donations as IEC probes ANC's funding compliance
The Democratic Alliance DA has reported over R104 million in donations for the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year, representing nearly 89% of all disclosed political funding. This period, from April 1 to June 30, 2026, follows the proclamation of November 4, 2026, as the date for the Local Government Elections LGE2026. The DA's declared funding includes R98.75 million in monetary donations and R5.28 million in in-kind support.
