Access Holdings board approves half-year 2026 financial statements
The Board of Directors of Access Holdings Plc approved the Group's audited interim consolidated and separate financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, during a meeting on August 27, 2026. This approval is a key step in the financial reporting calendar, clearing the way for the financial institution to proceed with the final administrative phase of its mid-year audit process. The financial statements will now undergo the required regulatory process, including approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN. Following CBN's approval, Access Holdings will publish the audited financial statements through the Nigerian Exchange Limited NGX and make them available to stakeholders. The company emphasized its commitment to strong governance, regulatory compliance, and transparent engagement. In adherence to NGX Issuers' Rules, Access Holdings will remain in a closed period until 24 hours after the audited financial statements are released to the public, prohibiting directors, insiders, and their connected persons from trading the company's securities during this time. The public market release of the audited statements on the NGX is expected shortly after the CBN's review process is complete. This vetting process by the CBN and NGX ensures systemic risk management, compliance with capital adequacy standards, and accurate representation of financial data.
