Brighton and Hull City pursue Nigerian forward Femi Azeez
Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion has joined Hull City in the race to sign Nigerian forward Femi Azeez from Millwall. Brighton, who recently signed another Nigerian youngster, Zadok Yohanna, are looking to strengthen their attacking options for a season that includes European football in the UEFA Conference League. Hull City, newly promoted to the Premier League, is also keen on securing Azeez's services and is reportedly prepared to meet Millwall's valuation. Millwall has already rejected an offer from Ipswich Town for the 25-year-old, and manager Alex Neil has indicated that Azeez could leave if the club's asking price is met. Azeez had a strong 2025/26 season, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists, earning him a spot in the PFA Championship Team of the Season and a senior Nigeria call-up. He recently sustained a hamstring injury during Millwall's opening Championship fixture.
