Cristiano Ronaldo scores against 23 of 24 Saudi Pro League opponents, Al-Batin remains the exception
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored against 23 out of 24 teams he has faced in the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Batin being the only club to prevent him from scoring. Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023, Ronaldo has achieved 102 goals in 107 Saudi Pro League appearances and 123 goals in 142 appearances across all competitions for the club, securing two Saudi Pro League Golden Boots. He has a notable scoring record against several teams, including 10 goals against Al-Wehda, nine against Al-Fateh and Damac, and seven against Al-Okhdood. Ronaldo has also scored regularly against major Saudi clubs, with six goals against Al-Ittihad, four against Al-Ahli, and three against Al-Hilal. Al-Batin, whom Ronaldo faced in his sixth Saudi Pro League appearance during his first season, held him scoreless in Al-Nassr's 3-1 victory. The club was subsequently relegated and has not returned to the top flight. Al-Batin joins a select group of clubs that have prevented Ronaldo from scoring in a league match, including Leganes and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Ronaldo will continue his career with Al-Nassr under new manager Ange Postecoglou, aiming to defend their league title and pursue 1,000 career goals. Newly promoted Al-Faisaly and Al-Diriyah will offer him further opportunities to expand his scoring record in the 2026-27 season.
