NDLEA dismantles international cocaine cartel, arrests social media influencer KC Luxury in Lagos

The agency arrested Afolabi Michael, known online as “KC Luxury,” a self-styled luxury goods dealer and social media influencer, who was identified as the Nigerian arrowhead of the syndicate. NDLEA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Marwa retd., announced the operation, describing it as a significant narcotics investigation.

The operation led to the seizure of 184.50kg of cocaine, the largest made through a courier company in Nigeria, with an estimated street value of N39 billion. The investigation began with the interception of the cocaine consignment concealed for export via a courier logistics channel in Lagos. A Special Investigation Team traced the network, leading to the arrest of Lawal Mujab Kehinde, a logistics firm staff member, and Afolabi Michael, who was apprehended at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on August 13, 2026, while attempting to flee to Paris.
