Ndèye Seynabou Ndiaye released, raising concerns among Farba Ngom's supporters

Ndèye Seynabou Ndiaye has been granted provisional release in the judicial case involving the mayor of Agnams, Mouhamadou Ngom, known as Farba Ngom. This follows the recent releases of Tahirou Sarr and Abdou Karim Mbacké, who were also implicated in the same case. Supporters of the deputy-mayor of Agnam note that all individuals charged and detained in this case have received provisional release without opposition from the public prosecutor, with the sole exception of Farba Ngom. His supporters are denouncing this situation as a "double standard" and a "grave injustice." Farba Ngom remains in detention due to an appeal filed by the public prosecutor against a decision that had initially granted him supervised release. This procedure is currently blocking his release, which his close associates describe as "derisory."
