NDC National Vice Chairman condemns xenophobic attacks in South Africa

In a statement from Accra, Alhassan described the violence as a betrayal of Africa’s unity, stating that no African should face attacks or humiliation for seeking opportunities in another African country. He emphasized that Africa should not be a continent where Africans fear fellow Africans. Alhassan called on the African Union, United Nations, regional organizations, human rights groups, and religious leaders to forcefully condemn xenophobia, warning that silence exacerbates the crisis and undermines Pan-Africanism.

He expressed solidarity with those affected and called for unity and coexistence, asserting that "Africa belongs to all Africans."
