National Microfinance Days to be held in Abidjan on June 25-26, 2026

The National Microfinance Days JNM will take place on June 25 and 26, 2026, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. This event, announced by Executive Director Tanoé Cyrille of the Professional Association of Decentralized Financial Systems of Côte d'Ivoire APSFD-CI, aims to advance inclusive growth through microfinance. The JNM 2026, themed "The contribution of microfinance institutions to financial inclusion and socio-economic development in Côte d'Ivoire," is expected to draw between 3,000 and 5,000 participants. It will serve as a platform for dialogue among public and private stakeholders and technical partners to identify solutions for strengthening microfinance's impact. The microfinance sector in Côte d'Ivoire has shown significant growth, with 45 institutions under APSFD-CI, serving over 2.6 million clients by December 2025. These institutions manage over 600 billion FCFA in savings and more than 722 billion FCFA in credit, highlighting their crucial role in financing the economy, especially for populations excluded from traditional banking.
