Casablanca to host FIFAe Continental Championship Africa from August 27 to 29
The Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games FRMJE announced that Casablanca will host the FIFAe Continental Championship Africa 2026 from August 27 to 29. This event is organized in partnership with FIFA, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation FRMF, the city of Casablanca, and the African Confederation of Esports ACES. Morocco was chosen as one of five host countries for the FIFAe Continental Championships 2026, alongside Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico, and Portugal. These continental competitions, held between August and September 2026, are a key stage in the Road to the FIFAe Finals 2026, which involved over 120 nations. They represent the final major continental steps before the FIFAe World Cup 2026. Thirteen African nations will participate in Casablanca, with eight nations competing in each of the three disciplines: eFootball Mobile on August 27, eFootball Console on August 28, and Rocket League on August 29. The winners of the semi-finals in each discipline will qualify for the global event. This championship aims to showcase African talent, the diversity of the continent's esports communities, and the development of a structured and professional African competitive ecosystem.
