Morocco implements renewed legal framework for 2026 elections to strengthen representative democracy

This reform is centered on three key texts: Law No. 55.25, which updates the law on general electoral lists, referendum operations, and the use of public audiovisual media during campaigns; Organic Law No. 54.25, which reforms the organic law on political parties; and Organic Law No. 53.25, which amends the organic law on the House of Representatives.
